Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while coordinating with physicians and support staff to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires at least an associate degree in nursing, RN licensure, and ongoing BSN development. A strong emphasis on communication, patient education, and teamwork is essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• A minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Six months or more of relevant nursing experience OR active participation in Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, strong accountability, teamwork, ongoing education, and delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing practices per evidence-based standards and policies.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and communicate plan of care.
• Provide patient/family education and ensure understanding.
• Document care and patient status in electronic systems.
• Discharge planning and safe transition of patients to appropriate care.
