Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes. This role emphasizes expanding knowledge, coordinating care, and supporting fellow caregivers to deliver the highest quality of care.

You will work with patients across a designated population, holding an active RN license, an associate degree or diploma in nursing, and BSN in progress within three years.

Qualifications

• Must have an associate degree in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire.
• Must have a current and valid Registered Nurse license to work at the assigned HMH location by date of hire.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association is required within 60 days of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participant with Hackensack Meridian Health's Nurse Residency Program.
• The ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs, a strong sense of accountability for improving the lives of our patients and their caregivers, an exceptional focus on teamwork, dedication to ongoing education and the ability and passion to deliver the highest quality of care based on a strong sense of patient focus are all required.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care as part of the interdisciplinary team to a variety of complex patients.
• Coordinate patient care/unit activities among nursing peers, physicians and support services.
• Delegate, validate, evaluate, and coordinate care for assigned patients.
