Northwell Health is seeking a registered nurse to provide age-appropriate care using the nursing process. The role involves assessment of physiologic and psychosocial health, planning and implementing care, and coordinating with physicians and the health team.

You will lead in safety, education, and discharge planning. The successful candidate will have an RN license in NY or CT, a related degree, BLS, and suitable certifications.

Formación

• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State and/or Connecticut required.
• BLS required, plus specialized certifications as needed.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient’s physiologic health status.
• Assesses patient’s psychosocial health status.
• Identifies patient outcomes and develops individualized goals.
• Formulates care plan and prioritizes care to achieve outcomes.
• Implements the plan of care and ensures safety and quality.
• Evaluates care and outcomes to improve performance.
• Collaborates with care team and delegates assignments.
• Performs skin care and wound care procedures.
• Administers medications safely and accurately.
• Educates patient and family and coordinates discharge planning.
• Performs related duties as required.
