Job summary

MetroHealth Parma Health Center is seeking an RN to provide compassionate care in an Acute Care Adult Medical/Post-Surgical Unit. You will handle IVs, blood draws, and telemetry monitoring while delivering patient-centered care across a 15-bed unit with a trauma bed as needed.

Responsibilities include post-surgical care, time management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Rotating weekends and holidays, with a bi-weekly schedule of 72 hours, and a potential sign-on bonus for

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio.
• AHA Basic Life Support for healthcare providers certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult medical/post-surgical patients in a high-acuity unit.
• Monitor telemetry and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Administer IVs, perform blood draws, and assist with post-surgical care.
• Collaborate with LPNs, PCNAs, nurses, and allied staff to coordinate patient care.

Shift: 7a-7p/7p-7a; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays

Up to $10,000 sign on bonus for RNs with qualifying experience

Primary Patient Population:

Personnel RN will work with:

• LPNs, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Nurse Interns, Providers, PT/OT, Speech Therapy

Number of beds on unit:

• 15 beds plus 1 Trauma bed as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).


• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
