Job summary

Ascension Via Christi in Manhattan, KS is seeking a PACU RN to deliver care for post-operative and post-procedural patients during the immediate recovery phase. You will adhere to AORN and ASPAN standards for aseptic technique and perianesthesia practice, while continuously evaluating and documenting patient responses to anesthesia and surgical interventions.

The role requires a nursing diploma and Kansas RN licensure, with ALS within 6 months and BLS within 1 month of hire; Pediatric Life

Qualifications

• Advanced Life Support within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross preferred.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
