Job summary

The Clare in Chicago is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a full-time overnight position in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit. Block schedule 6:30pm to 7am, 3 days per week with rotating weekend shifts.

You will provide direct nursing care, supervise CNAs, manage admissions and discharges, and document treatments in compliance with regulations. An Illinois RN license and CPR are required; weekend availability is essential.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois
• CPR certified.
• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care maintained.
• Admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.

$42.00-$43.00 per hour, plus overnight shift differential
