Job summary

The Clare in Chicago is seeking an Overnight RN for the Skilled Nursing unit. You will work a block schedule from 6:30pm to 7am, 3 days per week with rotating weekends, earning $42.00-$43.00 per hour plus an overnight shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must hold current nursing license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certification required.
• More than 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• One year of long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise CNAs to ensure quality care.
• Manage admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Administer medications and treatments and maintain accurate charting per standards.
• Maintain high standard of resident care and respond to crises promptly.
• Support facility philosophy and quality nursing care.

If so, then The Clare, the only Continuing Care Retirement Community in the Gold Coast area, wants you! We are seeking to fill a Full-Time RN role in our Skilled Nursing Care Unit.

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN:

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through qualitynursing care.

Here are a few of the qualifications we need you to have:

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois
• CPR certified.
• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED.
