Ascension is hiring an Operating Room Registered Nurse in Cedar Park, TX. Day, full-time role in the Operating Room specialty, providing expert perioperative care for high-acuity patients and supporting surgeons with advanced technical needs.

• Coordinate intraoperative clinical management by monitoring hemodynamics, documenting critical interventions, and facilitating clear communication within the surgical team.


• Deliver advanced surgical assistance, actively supporting surgeons with hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and specialized patient positioning during complex procedures.


• Optimize suite readiness and sterile integrity through the meticulous preparation of specialized instrumentation and life-saving equipment for rapid-response trauma cases.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


• One or more of the following required:
  
  
  
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  
  
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  
  
  
  

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences

• 3 plus years Operating Room RN experience


• 40 hours per week 7am - 3pm with on call
