Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time, days schedule in Murfreesboro, TN, working within the Oncology department at Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford. The role requires Tennessee RN licensure (compact state considered) and BLS.

The position emphasizes collaboration across clinical teams and administration to optimize care delivery and patient support. Candidates should have a nursing diploma and be prepared to contribute to quality initiatives, staff education, and resources

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing
• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Quality & Education Advocacy: Coordinate comprehensive treatment plans while driving clinical quality improvement initiatives and staff educational programs.
• Data & Process Optimization: Track outcomes, compile critical performance data, and deliver actionable recommendations for continuous operational and clinical improvements.
• Patient Navigation Support: Connect uninsured and underinsured patients with vital community resources, follow-up care, and financial assistance programs.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.


• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
