Ascension is seeking an experienced RN to join the GYN Oncology Surgical Observation Unit in Nashville, TN for full-time night shifts. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary treatment, and execute physician orders while supporting discharge planning with the healthcare team.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
