Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Night Shift Registered Nurse at Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS, to deliver individualized cancer care in a collaborative clinical setting.

You will implement care plans, coordinate multi-disciplinary actions, and ensure safe, high-quality nursing care while supporting patient transitions and discharge planning. A BLS certificate and Kansas RN licensure are required.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credential in Kansas is required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Clinical Excellence: You will implement, monitor, and adapt personalized care plans, acting as the primary advocate for your patients by communicating critical condition changes in real-time.
• Care Orchestration: Serving as the central hub of the clinical team, you’ll harmonize efforts across multiple disciplines to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated healthcare journey.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
