Premise Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health, to provide hands-on care in a busy onsite clinic in High Point, NC.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in occupational health, ER, or ambulatory care, and an active RN license in NC, with COHN/COHN-S or ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S) or ACLS may be required for some sites.
• 3+ years RN experience in occupational health, ER, or ambulatory clinic.
• Experience promoting safe, healthy workplaces and return-to-work exams.

Responsabilités

• Ensure regulatory compliance for clinical operations (OSHA, DOT, CDC).
• Evaluate and treat patients within scope of practice.
• Provide care to injured workers and coordinate return-to-work with TPA and client.
• Implement and monitor transitional duty programs for injured workers.
• Perform and document medical tests (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and emergency care within scope.
• Maintain equipment, environment, and infection control protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and documentation.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and departments on health programs.
• Assist with accident investigations and safety initiatives.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in High Point, NC.

The scheduled hours are Monday - Friday 9:00AM - 5:00PM

Make an Impact in Occupational Health: Provide hands-on care in a busy onsite clinic, treating work-related injuries, managing workers’ compensation cases, and supporting employees’ safe return to work. Ideal for an experienced RN with Occupational Health, ER, or ICU experience.

What You’ll Do

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice
• Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
• Assists with accident investigations, return-to-work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
• Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams
