Premise Health is hiring a Part Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health to care for client employees at our Burnsville Health Center. The role supports return-to-work programs and on-site health services.

The schedule is Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30am–4:00pm, with competitive hourly pay and benefits including 401(k), paid holidays and vacation time, and a wellness program.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice
• AS degree required; BSN preferred
• BLS or ACLS certification required depending on site
• 3+ years RN experience in occupational health or related setting
• Knowledge of health promotion and return-to-work strategies

Responsibilities

• Provide care to client employees at the Health Center
• Evaluate, treat and prioritize patient care within scope of practice
• Deliver evidence-based care to injured workers and coordinate return‑to‑work
• Administer medications and emergency care as allowed by scope
• Maintain medical equipment and infection control procedures
• Maintain patient health records and educate on health promotion

As a Part Time Registered Nurse, Occupational Health, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Burnsville, MN. This position is scheduled Tuesday through Thursday, from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

What You’ll Do

• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements related to clinical operations and manages required physical evaluations (OSHA, DOT, CDC, etc.)
• Evaluates, treats, and prioritizes patient care within the scope of practice
• Delivers evidence-based care to injured workers, accelerates return to work, and coordinates case management with the TPA and client
• Implements and monitors transitional duty programs for injured workers
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow‑up care
• Collaborates with healthcare professionals and resources, and company departments on health programs and injury prevention
• Assists with accident investigations, return‑to‑work programs, and workplace safety initiatives
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four‑year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Certification in Occupational Health (COHN/COHN‑S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Current certification with hands‑on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• At least three years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an occupational health clinic, emergency room, or other ambulatory care clinic
• Experience in strategies to promote and maintain healthy, safe, and productive workplaces, including: partners to identify/mitigate workplace hazards, health screenings/education, fitness for duty, and return to work exams

Premise provides its reasonable and genuinely expected range of compensation for this job of $35.20 - $44.00 per hour. A number of factors will influence the rate offered for this position, including your experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other factors.
