Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shifts on our skilled nursing team. On-site care, diverse residents, and a comprehensive benefits package accompany a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time nights.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license is required.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
• Experience in caring for seniors or cognitive impairment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families, focusing on holistic care.
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nursing practice acts and standards.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and teaching residents and families.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care team to provide routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications as ordered.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary teams.
• Record resident preferences in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
