Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch near Denver, CO, is seeking an RN to join our skilled nursing team for 12-hour night shifts. We offer full-time or per diem schedules with a $5,000 sign-on bonus for full-time night shifts and a comprehensive benefits package.

Expect to develop strong resident and family relationships, perform clinical duties in line with nurse practice acts, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license is required.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross) is required.
• Experience caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and web applications are required.
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice acts and standards.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and teaching families.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection control practices and administer medications per orders.
• Coordinate a holistic plan of care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
