Job summary

Wind Crest by Erickson Senior Living in Highlands Ranch, CO, is hiring Registered Nurses for 12-hour night shifts. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, tuition reimbursement, and on-site health centers. New grads welcome; experienced RNs in geriatric care preferred.

Full-time positions include a $5,000 sign-on bonus for nights and opportunities to grow within our expanding community. Per diem options are also available.

Qualifications

• Active Colorado RN license or eligibility.
• CPR certification (AHA or Red Cross).
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an electronic medical record (EMR) is preferred.
• Seasoned RNs or new grads are welcome to apply.
• Experience caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families; support physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Perform clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice acts and standards.
• Promote resident independence by setting care goals and educating residents/families.
• Monitor residents for changes in status and respond to ensure comfort and safety.
• Support care associates in routine nursing tasks as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention and administer medications per orders.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the inter-disciplinary team.
• Document in the EMR accurately and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
