Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide day shift and PRN coverage for stroke and medical-surgical units. You will deliver compassionate care, monitor acute changes, and support patients and families through discharge planning.

Required are a Tennessee RN license and BLS certification within 30 days of hire, along with a nursing diploma from an accredited program. 6+ months acute care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date. Licensed RN in Tennessee prior to hire date. Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.

What minimum qualifications you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Additional Preferences:

• 6+ months of acute care nursing experience
