Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a skilled RN for the Neuro Trauma ICU at Ascension Sacred Heart Pensacola. The role supports a day shift, full-time schedule, delivering comprehensive patient care in a high-acuity environment.

You will implement care plans, coordinate multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure accurate execution of physician orders while preparing patients for discharge in collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in Florida before hire date; FL RN license.
• Compact multi-state license acceptable for multi-state recognition.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Preferred Credential(s):
• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
