Ascension St. Vincent Lucas Family Brain and Spine in Indianapolis, IN, seeks a PRN Night Shift Registered Nurse to coordinate multidisciplinary team care for patients with complex brain and spine conditions.
You will continuously assess and adjust care plans, monitor neurological status, and support safe discharge planning with families and specialists. Required are an Indiana RN license and BLS certification, with a nursing diploma or higher, and acute care experience preferred.

Department/Specialty: Inpatient, Acuity adaptable Unit
Schedule: PRN, Night shift. Minimum 36 hours per six-week schedule
How you’ll make an impact in this role
Lead the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to ensure patients receive seamless, well integrated care tailored to their neurological recovery.
Assess and adapt personalized care plans continuously to meet the evolving physical and cognitive needs of patients with complex brain and spine conditions.
Monitor and interpret vital clinical changes to provide immediate interventions that safeguard patient safety and optimize neurological outcomes.
Guide the discharge planning process alongside families and specialists to ensure a safe transition from hospital to home or rehabilitation.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
