HCA Florida UCF Lake Nona Hospital is seeking a Post-Partum RN to deliver direct patient care to postpartum patients and newborns. You will work within a multidisciplinary obstetrical team to monitor progress, prepare for discharge, and support families in a compassionate, family-centered setting.

The role emphasizes data collection, advocacy, individualized plans, and education on medications and procedures.

Competenze

• Valid Florida RN license or approved multistate license.
• 1+ year RN experience in acute care preferred.
• RN diploma, associate degree or BSN education preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days of start.
• ACLS within 6 months of start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Neonatal Resuscitation within 30 days of start date.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Post-Partum RN to join our healthcare team. Your primary function is to provide direct patient care to post-partum patients in a family centered approach. You will provide multidisciplinary obstetrical care to low and high risk postpartum patients and normal newborns. The RN monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge. You will work with a phenomenal team that cares like family and works together in a collaborative manner.

In this role you will:

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedure and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Requirements:

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• 1+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
• Registered Nurse Diploma, or Associate Degree,BSN is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support, or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• American Heart Association ACLS Provider issued card required within 6 months of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
