Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking Registered Nurses for the Mercy South Float Pool in St. Louis. Opportunities available for full-time or part-time RNs with 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm or 7pm-7am) and 8-hour evening shifts (3pm-11pm).

RNs will float among units including Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, ED, Behavioral Health, Oncology and more; a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered for eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of bedside RN experience.
• Nursing degree from an accredited school (BSN preferred).
• Current RN license in the state.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float to units such as Orthopedics, Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, ICU, ED, Behavioral Health, Oncology, Neurology and more.
• Provide direct patient care and monitor patient status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and flow across shifts.

Flexible Scheduling Options:

12-hour shifts:

7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM

8-hour evening shifts:

3 PM – 11 PM

Competitive Pay with Tiered Differentials:

• Tier 3 (Med/Surg): +$5.00/hr
• Tier 2 (Stepdown): +$7.50/hr
• Tier 1 (ICU): +$10.00/hr

Additional Shift Differentials:

• Evening: +$2.75/hr
• Night: +$4.60/hr
• Weekend: +$1.50/hr

Sign-On Bonus:

Up to

$10,000 for eligible RNs!

Qualifications:

Experience

1–2 years of bedside RN experience

Education

Physical requirements/demands

Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis

Prolonged standing and walking each shift

Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
