Job summary

Saint Clare's Health is seeking a SCTU Registered Nurse to render specialty nursing care for patients transported between facilities under physician orders while advocating for patient needs.

This role requires an active NJ RN license, BLS/ACLS, and transport-related certifications with the ability to care for neonatal through geriatric patients in a dynamic EMS/transport setting.

Qualifications

• NJ RN license required.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) and ACLS.
• PALS or ENPC certification.
• Driver's license.
• CEVO certification within 3 months of hire; renew every 3 years.
• NRP within 3 months of hire/transfer.
• MICN or MICP within first year of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialty nursing care to patients transported between facilities.
• Act under physician orders and serve as patient advocate.
• Adhere to NJ regulations governing specialty ambulance transportation.
• Care for patients from neonatal to geriatric.

Responsibilities

The SCTU Registered Nurse renders specialty nursing care to patient being transported from one facility to another. They are responsible to act under physician orders and is a patient advocate. They are to adhere to all laws set forth at NJAC 8:41-10.3 which regulates specialty ambulance transportation by the New Jersey Department of Health. They provide care to patient ranging from neonatal through geriatric.

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience

• NJ Registered Nurse License.
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider ? BLS CPR card.
• Current and valid AHA ACLS card.
• Current and valid AHA PALS card or ENPC.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification ? must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) within three months of hire / transfer.
• Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic (MICN) or Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic (MICP).
• Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) must be obtained for NJ Registered Nurses that have not yet obtained MICN or MICP certification.
• Mobile Intensive Care Nurse training as per NJ 8:41-4:11, with an additional 100 hours of ALS truck orientation time (total 200 hours)
• Mobile Intensive Care Nurse (MICN) or Mobile Intensive Care Paramedic (MICP) within the first year of hire / transfer
• Undergraduate/Bachelor's Degree preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $43.26 to $54.09. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
