Saint Clare's Health, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician/Paramedic for our team in New Jersey. The role focuses on high-quality basic life support, patient transport in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings, and collaboration with the health care team across age groups from neonatal to geriatric.

The position emphasizes certified paramedic credentials, BLS/CPR, ACLS and PALS, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Department of Health Paramedic certification.
• Current and valid Healthcare Provider - BLS CPR card.
• Current and valid AHA ACLS card.
• Current and valid AHA PALS card.
• Valid Driver's License.
• CEVO certification - must obtain within 3 months of hire and renew in 3 year period.
• Previous experience as a Paramedic preferred.
• Good driving record.

Responsibilities

• The Emergency Medical Technician renders basic life support of the highest quality, compassion and dignity, while providing patients transportation in the pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Functions as a member of the health care team in accordance with established hospital policies and procedures.
• Provides care to patients ranging in age from neonatal through geriatric.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $32.00 to $39.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
