Job summary

Saint Clare's Health within the Prime Healthcare network seeks staff to transport patients, perform routine clerical tasks, and support front-end operations. Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the department.
• Darkroom duties and gowning as needed.
• Order and stock supplies; front office duties.

• Retrieve patient records and file reports; assist physicians.
• Demonstrate proper telephone etiquette and friendly patient greetings.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to and from the department.
• Darkroom duties.
• Order supplies.
• Stock supplies.
• Dress patients.
• Front office duties.
• Answer telephones.
• Greet patients.
• Prepare requisitions for outpatients.
• File patient reports.
• Retrieve patient records for physicians or medical records.
• Demonstrate adequate knowledge of the usual terminology of tests ordered in department.
• Demonstrate good telephone etiquette and be able to greet patients and other visitors in a polite and friendly manner.
• Provide clerical support by utilizing telephone, computer, office equipment, PACS (Picture Archive and Communication System) and by running errands throughout the facility.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• Must have BCLS (AHA) upon hire and maintain current throughout employment.
• Transportation experience preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $16.10/Hr. to $20.25/Hr. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
