Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Med Surg Float Pool. This role focuses on delivering safe and high-quality patient care and coordinating support from Nursing Assistants and other team members.

The schedule is 0.75 FTE with rotating day and night 12-hour shifts, including every third weekend, to meet patient needs. BSN preferred; MN RN license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an associate, baccalaureate, or master's degree program in Nursing.
• BSN preferred and generally expected that BSN is obtained within 2 years of hire.
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, quality patient care in collaboration with the care team.
• Coordinates and supervises patient care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed personnel.
• Collaborates with physicians and other providers to achieve shared goals for patient outcomes.

Position Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Work Schedule:
