Ascension Providence in Waco, TX is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Urology Stroke department. This full-time day shift role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating care across disciplines, and ensuring accurate execution of physician orders.

Requirements include BLS within 30 days, graduation from accredited nursing program, Texas RN license (or multi-state compact) and at least 1 year of acute care RN experience.

Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift 7:00a.m.-7:00p.m.
Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (GN) obtained prior to start date or job transfer date is required-OR-Temporary or Current Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Texas is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date-OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition through the Nurse Licensure Compact is required or must be obtained prior to hire or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year Acute Care RN experience
