Job summary

Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia, LA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical Unit (Med Surg). Under supervision, the RN will apply the nursing process, care for diverse patient populations, and interact with patients and the care team to ensure quality care.

Graduate of an approved RN program with basic nursing knowledge and effective communication is required; prior experience preferred but not required. Schedule: PRN.

Effectively interact with patient, significant others, andother heath team members. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary toprovide care based on physical, psycho/social, education, safety and relatedcriteria for the newborn, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of state approved RN School of Nursing.

TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

• Previous experience preferred, but not required.
