Ascension in Round Rock, TX is seeking a part-time Night Shift RN in the Med Surg Float department. The role focuses on care planning, condition monitoring, and coordinating interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care.

You will execute orders with precision and support complex discharge planning for smooth transitions. Minimum requirements include Texas RN licensure, BLS, and ALS/PA capabilities; BSN preferred with 2+ years in Med-Surg.

Qualificações

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Registered Nurse license from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred; Pediatric ALS preferred.

• Order Execution: Precisely carry out physician and advanced nursing directives with absolute clinical accuracy.
• Transition Strategy: Evaluate and manage complex discharge planning needs to guarantee safe patient transitions.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
• BSN preferred
• 2 plus years Med Surg experience preferred
