Job summary

St. Luke’s in Nampa, Idaho is seeking an experienced registered nurse for our fast-paced 24-bed med/surg unit.

You’ll provide patient care in a setting with typical RN ratios of 1:5 (often 1:4 for acuity) and support from a dedicated Unit Based Educator during orientation. This role offers full-time or part-time schedules, day or night shifts, and a sign-on/relocation bonus for eligible new hires, plus certification incentive pay for specialty credentials.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's or Bachelor's Nursing Degree.
• Experience: 1+ years of RN experience.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the fast-paced 24-bed med/surg unit in Nampa, ID.
• Maintain appropriate RN-patient ratios (typical 1:5, sometimes 1:4 with acuity).

Unit Overview

Nampa med/surg unit is a fast-paced 24 bed Surgical unit that is an ideal place to build strong clinical skills while caring for an increasingly diverse patient population. Typical RN to patient ratios on this unit are 1:5, with reduced ratios of 1:4 for acuity when necessary. For CNAs, the ratios are typically 1:8-10.
