Job summary

Ascension Health in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for a PRN daytime shift in the Med Surg department. You will lead care journeys, collaborate across disciplines, and support physicians with complex treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead individualized care journeys by designing and monitoring plans that prioritize clinical excellence and personal dignity.
• Coordinate across medical disciplines to ensure a unified care team and advocate for patient safety through accurate assessments and documentation.
• Execute complex treatment strategies and provide daily clinical support in partnership with physicians.
• Lead comprehensive discharge planning to empower patients and families for continued recovery and holistic health after discharge.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
