Ascension Saint Thomas River Park in McMinnville, TN, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for Med Surg, full-time nights. You will implement comprehensive care plans, coordinate across disciplines, and monitor patient conditions to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

You will collaborate with the healthcare team to discharge planning and follow physician orders with rigorous adherence to protocols. The role offers professional growth and job stability within a leading Catholic health system.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire date (AHA/ARC accepted).
• RN license issued by Tennessee Board of Nursing required prior to hire date.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

• Serve as the primary lead across all disciplines to ensure every patient receives well-coordinated, seamless care.

• Precisely carry out physician and nursing orders while maintaining the highest standards of clinical protocol.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate discharge needs, ensuring patients are prepared for a successful transition home.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
