Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a part-time RN at Jessup Correctional Institution in Jessup, MD. The role involves night shifts and requires an Associate's Degree with an active Maryland RN license.

The RN will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to address physical, psychological, and social needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR/BLS.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Collaborate with the DON and Nursing Supervisor and multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
