Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at North Branch Correctional Institution in Cumberland, MD. You will provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an active Maryland RN license, CPR/BLS certification, and TB screening documentation. Security clearance and background checks are required. Evening shifts total 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR/BLS.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the appropriate scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at North Branch Correctional Institution, located in Cumberland, Maryland.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications
