Job summary

Centurion Health, in partnership with Ruach Consulting, seeks a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Infirmary for the Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, Maryland. The role requires providing holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients during night shifts.

The RN will work under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, assess patients, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to address physical, psychological, and social needs.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid RN license in Maryland.
• Must show/obtain PPD documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• CPR/BLS certified.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Partnering with Ruach Consulting, we are currently seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse (RN) Infirmary to join our team at the Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, Maryland.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
• Prior nursing experience not required
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
