Job summary

Centurion Health in Jessup, MD is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver holistic care to incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor. The RN will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs within required scope of practice.

Qualifications include Maryland RN license, TB screening documentation, CPR/BLS certification, and the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in CPR/BLS.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the direction of the DON and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Identify, assess and respond to physical, psychological and social needs of patients.
