Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide holistic medical care to incarcerated patients at Eastern Correctional Institution in Westover, Maryland. The RN will work under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to assess and respond to a wide range of health, psychological, and social needs.

Available shifts include Full-Time, Part-Time, and PRN. Requirements include Maryland RN license, PPD tuberculosis screening, CPR/BLS certification,

Qualifications

• Must hold Maryland RN license.
• Must show/obtain PPD tuberculosis screening.
• Must be CPR/BLS certified.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients within the allowed scope of practice.
• Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to facility policies.

Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. Partnering with Talantage LLC, we are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our team at Eastern Correctional Institutionlocated in Westover Maryland.

The Registered Nurse (RN)(Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications:

• Must hold valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland.
• Must show/obtain current Purified Protein Derivative (PPD) documentation for tuberculosis screening.
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS.
• Prior nursing experience not required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check.
