MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our LTAC ICU team in Ontario, CA. Per-diem shifts offer flexible scheduling for dedicated critical care professionals.

Responsibilities include direct patient care for critically ill patients, ventilator management, and collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to implement care plans. California RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Competenze

• Active California RN license.
• 1–2 years ICU/LTAC/critical care experience preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Mansioni

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill and medically complex patients in a Long-Term Acute Care ICU setting.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions including vital signs, hemodynamic status, and response to treatment.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Manage ventilator-dependent patients and coordinate with respiratory therapy for optimal pulmonary care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, therapists, and case managers to develop and execute patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge planning.
• Respond to rapid changes in patient condition and initiate emergency interventions as needed.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• Minimum 1-2 years of ICU, LTAC, or critical care nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care protocols
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment while maintaining compassionate patient care
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective interdisciplinary collaboration
