MEDEX STAFFING NETWORK LLC in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 12‑week LTAC contract. You will provide comprehensive nursing care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support patient outcomes in a dynamic healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate holds an active California RN license with at least 1 year of experience, BLS/CPR certification, and proficiency with EHR systems. ACLS is preferred depending on specialty, and flexibility for shifts is required.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in accordance with clinical guidelines
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures while monitoring patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and progress accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-care instructions
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as needed
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, infection control protocols, and facility policies

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California (or compact license eligibility)
• 1 year of RN experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN) from an accredited program
• Current BLS/CPR certification; ACLS preferred depending on specialty
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, or holidays as needed
