Job summary

Baptist Senior Family in Scott Township, PA is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to lead resident care with compassion and clinical excellence.

You will supervise nursing staff, develop care plans, administer medications, and coordinate admissions and transitions, with a Full-Time 3:00pm–11:00pm schedule; competitive hourly pay and generous benefits start on day one.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Pennsylvania RN or LPN license required.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and long‑term care regulations.
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures as ordered.
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
• Supervise and mentor LPNs and Nursing Aides.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and care transitions.

As a RN or LPN, you'll play a key leadership role in delivering person-centered care while coordinating clinical services, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring residents receive the highest quality care. What You'll Do:

• Assess residents and develop, implement, and update individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, IV therapy, and other nursing procedures in accordance with physician orders and current nursing standards.
• Monitor resident conditions, document significant changes, and communicate with physicians, CRNPs, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Supervise, mentor, and provide clinical guidance to Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Nurse Aides.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, and resident care transitions.
• Ensure restorative and rehabilitative care plans are implemented and documented accurately.
• Promote a safe environment by maintaining infection prevention standards and identifying safety concerns.
• Respond appropriately to emergency and life‑saving situations following established nursing protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with federal, state, and regulatory standards.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and fellow team members while supporting Baptist Senior Family’s mission and Culture of Wellness.

Work Schedule:

• Full-Time 3:00pm - 11:00pm

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
