Job summary

The St. Albans Community Living Center (CLC) Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based care to assigned residents and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants, as appropriate to the setting.

The nurse will assist in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization. The position requires English language proficiency and graduation from an approved nursing program

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English, written and spoken.
• Graduate of an ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• Current, full, active, and unrestricted RN registration in US.
• Foreign-educated nurses require licensure equivalency validation.

Responsibilities

• Provide competent, evidence-based care to assigned residents.
• Oversee licensed vocational nurses and nursing assistants as appropriate.
• Direct nursing education, orientation and competency development.
