Journey in Saint Albans, WV is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to lead the nursing team in a long-term care setting. You will oversee LPNs, CNAs, and care coordination to ensure high-quality resident outcomes, while maintaining regulatory compliance and a compassionate care culture.
You will participate in admissions and transfers, monitor resident status changes, and collaborate with physicians and families to execute care plans. A valid RN license and CPR certification are required.
Qualifications
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- Current RN license in practicing state.
- Current CPR certification.
Responsabilités
- Directs daily activities of licensed practical/vocational nurses and CNAs in accordance with regulations and facility policies.
- Follows nursing model to promote holistic care for residents.
- Ensures policies and procedures are followed by nursing staff.
- Participates in admissions, discharges, and transfers of residents as required.
- Assesses changes in residents’ status and communicates with physicians and families; documents accordingly.
- Transcribes physician orders to medical records and carries out orders as written.
