Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence - Sierra Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct clinical care on a rotating shift. You will assess, plan, and implement nursing care for assigned patients and supervise staff as appropriate to ensure high quality outcomes.

You will administer medications, coordinate care within the medical regimen, and participate in emergency response activities per policy.

Qualifications

• Graduated from state approved school of nursing or accredited program.
• Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
• Current RN license, CPR/BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered nursing care.
• Coordinates and plans patient care within the nursing process.
• Directs care per safety standards and infection control.
• Coordinates and plans patient care within medical regimens.
• Administers medications safely per hospital policy.
• Fulfills hospital incident command duties during emergencies.
• Familiar with emergency codes and hospital procedures.
