Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent foreign degree.
• Current Minnesota RN registration.
• Current CPR certification.
• CGFNS certificate or equivalent, or full unrestricted license to practice nursing in Minnesota, or NCLEX-RN completion.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs; develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Oversee and coordinate care of RNs, CNAs and nursing staff; clarify expectations and address behaviors.
• Maintain medical records and document care plans and outcomes.
• Administer nursing care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients; ensure safety.
