Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management in Minnesota seeks an RN to manage and supervise resident care, ensuring the highest quality of care per Minnesota BON standards and Residents’ Bill of Rights. You will assess residents, create detailed Plans of Care, and lead RNs, LPNs, CNAs to maintain safety and excellent outcomes.

The role requires knowledge of clinical nursing, leadership, and effective communication in English; experience in long-term or skilled nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing.
• Associate’s degree in Nursing or equivalent foreign degree.
• Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR).
• CGFNS certificate (or equivalent) or full unrestricted nursing license to practice in Minnesota, or passage of the NCLEX-RN exam.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accuracy of documentation.
• Oversee and supervise CNAs and nursing staff to ensure quality care.
• Ensure safety and identify/correct problems; use evidence to improve patient outcomes.
