Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to supervise resident care and perform comprehensive health assessments in a Minnesota skilled nursing setting. The RN will develop detailed care plans, guide CNAs and licensed staff, and ensure safety, privacy, and quality care in line with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities include data-driven care planning, monitoring nursing interventions, and maintaining accurate documentation while addressing residents’ needs and rights.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an approved professional nursing education program.
• Must be currently registered as an RN in Minnesota.
• Current CPR certification and emergency care training are required.
• Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts Comprehensive Health Assessments and Care Planning: Gathers data to assess resident health, creates individualized Plans of Care, and ensures team collaboration.
• Implements and Monitors Nursing Care: Oversees nursing interventions, evaluates outcomes, and updates care plans to improve well-being.
• Ensures Compliance with Standards and Resident Rights: Aligns care with Minnesota BON standards, HIPAA, and Residents’ Bill of Rights.
• Provides Direct and Specialized Nursing Care: Performs RN tasks such as IV administration, PICC line care, and resident education.
• Maintains Safety, Documentation, and Infection Control: Ensures safe environment, follows protocols, documents care and medications, upholding HIPAA and infection control.
• Supervises and Manages Nursing Staff: Leads, delegates, ensures staffing, provides shift reports, and participates in emergencies.

Education

Completion of a professional nursing education program approved by the Minnesota Board of Nursing

Current Minnesota Registration as a Registered Nurse

Current Certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and emergency care

Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living facilities
