Job summary

Ascension is seeking an experienced Acute Care RN for Labor and Delivery at Seton Medical Center in Austin, TX. This role offers multiple shifts totaling 36 hours per week and a gross weekly rate up to $3,023.

You will provide direct nursing care, implement care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and assist with discharge planning under established protocols. Licensure and Neonatal Resuscitation certification are required, with STABLE preferred.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN required and must have compact license or state RN license for travel assignment.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• NRP certification required within 6 months of hire.
• STABLE certification preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.




• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.




• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Must have compact RN license or state RN license relevant to travel assignment location prior to start of assignment.




• Certification specializing in The S.T.A.B.L.E Program preferred.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required.

Work experience:

• One year of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
