Ascension is seeking a Part-Time Night RN for Labor and Delivery at Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN. The role focuses on implementing care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and ensuring accurate orders are executed while preparing patients for discharge.

Minimum requirements include an accredited nursing diploma, TN RN license, and certifications in ALS, BLS, and NRP, with experience in labor and delivery preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program.
• RN license Tennessee or multi-state license (Compact).
• ALS within 6 months of hire. BLS within 1 month. NRP within 6 months.

Responsabilités

• Implement and monitor patient care plans; record and communicate patient condition.
• Coordinate care as primary liaison among disciplines for coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning with the health-care team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
