Overland Park Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Labor & Delivery unit. You will provide direct patient care to adolescents and adults, support complex pregnancies, and participate in rapid childbirth and emergent interventions in a high-acuity environment.
The role requires RN licensure, BLS on hire, NRP and ACLS within specified timeframes, and a minimum of two years of L&D experience; high-risk OB experience is preferred. 3 x 12-hour shifts weekly.
The role of the Registered Nurse is to perform patient care under the direction of the Nurse Manager/Director. The Registered Nurse provides therapeutic and administrative services necessary for the care of the patient, and in support of the mission of Overland Park Regional Medical Center. The Registered Nurse provides care for adolescent patients between 12 to 17 years of age; adult patients between 18 to 50 years. Our fast-paced, high-acuity, and high-volume Labor and Delivery (L&D) unit is a specialized, critical care environment. Manage complex pregnancies, rapid childbirth, and emergency interventions simultaneously. Environment defined by intensity, constant activity, and the need for quick, precise, and possible life-saving decisions.
