Job summary

Endeavor Health in Evanston, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit (ISCU). The role requires NICU/ISCU experience, a current IL nursing license, and BLS/CPR certification. Full-time schedule with 36 hours per week and 19:00–07:30 shifts, including weekends.

Salary is hourly with a sign-on bonus potential of up to $25,000 for qualified candidates. Float when needed across ISCU/nursing units; ongoing opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• NLN-accredited nursing program required
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required
• Current IL nursing license
• Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU/ NICU setting
• Use the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate the patient care plan
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary care
• Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Contribute to patient safety and high-quality patient experience

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• SIGN ON BONUS: $25,000?Experience: .A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.
• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
• Float: when needed

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
