Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Infant Special Care Unit in Evanston, IL. The role requires NICU/ISCU experience and IL licensure, with BSN preferred. BLS/CPR certification is required, and a minimum of 18 months NICU/ISCU experience qualifies for the $25,000 sign-on bonus.

You will work full time (36 hours/week), 1900–0730 shifts with weekend rotation, and float as needed, providing compassionate ISCU care and leading a team of caregivers.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing
• Current IL nursing license is required
• BLS/CPR certification (AHA) required
• 1 year acute care nursing or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• NICU/ISCU experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Contribute to safety and high quality patient experience

Hourly Pay Range:

$37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

• SIGN ON BONUS: $25,000?Experience: .A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.
• Position: Registered Nurse ? Infant Special Care Unit
• Location: Evanston, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
• Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
• Float: when needed

What you will do:

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred

• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
